Alternatively we could buy some land, and build something, 160k for the land, probably 200-250k for the building.

These are kinda of cool, steel container houses, apparently they are wicked strong, bullet proof, and cheap.  Plus they lend themselves to a very industrial design feel to it, but I’ve seen people make them homie…
